I think the best imagery I’ve seen to explain the difference between what men think male objectification is vs what women actually want to see is the Hugh Jackman magazine covers.

Cressie AU Comic Masterpost

Since people seem to get confused with the chronological order of the comics in the Cressie AU, I decided to make a masterpost featuring all of the comics in order.

Current Show Timeline ~ Star and Marco, along with the rest of the cast, are approximately the same age as they are in the show.
The Sudden Death of Moon Butterfly - Moon gets killed by the “The Darkest Spell” given to her by Eclipsa, making Star the new Queen of Mewni.
The Immediate Aftermath - Star mourns the death of her mother.
Intermediate Timeline ~ Star and Marco are young adults. This ranges from their early 20′s to their late 20′s. Pre-Cressida to her birth.
Twisted Warnicorn Horn ~ Star finally decides to propose to her longtime boyfriend to be her future king and husband.
Dearly Beloved - Star and Marco are now bonded in matrimonial union.
Happy Birthday, Moon - River visits Moon in the Constellation, the graveyard of the former Queens of Mewni.

More of the Hellboy AU because, naturally, I watched Hellboy 2 today. This time featuring Tobes (because even in an AU you can’t split up the brOTP) and bby troll!Jim.
With Jim probably having to live in Trollmarket, I doubt he’d be able to have Hellboy’s gaggle of cats. But based on book canon, all of Nana D’s cats liked to gravitate toward trolls (even book!Aaarrrgghh, even though she’d eat them. But Jim wouldn’t eat Nana’s cats; friends don’t eat friends cats) so he’d probably get along really well with all of the Domzalski cats.

Please remember that the very first Pitch Black comic is CANON TO THE MOVIE ‘VERSE. Some have forgotten or don’t know, and it gets tedious to be told “uh this isn’t canon lol”.
Yes. That particular comic is canon. The artists working on the film made several comics they promoted on the Dreamworks blog.

Additional fun fact: Domestic cats have slit pupils, large cats have round pupils. What about in-between cats like the lynx? They’re an intermediate - ovals!

Cats:
- A cat can jump up to five times its own height in a single bound.
- The little tufts of hair in a cat’s ear that help keep out dirt direct sounds into the ear, and insulate the ears are called “ear furnishings.”
- The ability of a cat to find its way home is called “psi-traveling.” Experts think cats either use the angle of the sunlight to find their way or that cats have magnetized cells in their brains that act as compasses.
- One reason that kittens sleep so much is because a growth hormone is released only during sleep.
- A cat has 230 bones in its body. A human has 206. A cat has no collarbone, so it can fit through any opening the size of its head.

The above ointments DO NOT contain NSAIDs. Myoflex contains an aspirin derivative, Traumeel contains arnica and other herbs, and capsaicin ointments are just that. I still don’t recommend you apply these to areas on your body where cats can lick them, but you don’t need to throw away your OTC topicals. Just wash your hands thoroughly after use.
NSAID ointments you actually need to watch out for:
- Flurbiprofen
- Diclofenac
- Ketoprofen
- Ibuprofen
And other ointments that can cause harm to animals:
- Combination NSAID/steroid creams
- Estrogen or testosterone creams
- Vitamin D cream
